Our Mission
Our mission is to advance sewing as both an art and a life skill. As part of the national American Sewing Guild, we strive to inspire creativity, foster friendships, and provide educational opportunities for all who are passionate about sewing.
What We Do
- Monthly Meetings: We gather regularly for meetings that include guest speakers, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, and plenty of time to share projects and ideas.
- Neighborhood Groups: Our chapter offers smaller, interest-based groups that focus on everything from garment construction and quilting to embroidery and home décor.
- Community Service: Giving back is important to us. We organize charitable sewing projects to support local organizations, hospitals, and shelters.
- Special Events: Enjoy annual retreats, sewing expos, fabric swaps, and sew-alongs that bring our members together for fun and inspiration.
